Robert L. Girard (1918 - 1974) founded Girard Plumbing & Heating in 1952. He was a pipe fitter in a naval shipyard and loved plumbing. His son, Kim G. Girard, began helping his father at the age of 10. He would go out on the truck with him after school and during summer vacation. "There is nothing I would rather do...I love my job!"
